Approving or Denying Time Off Requests (Managers)

Log into the ADP Portal at

  • At the Welcome Screen, click on the Tab labeled Manager.
  • Under the Manager Tab, select Employee.
  • Click on the tab labeled Time and Attendance.
  • Select Welcome.
  • Click on Managers and Approvers.
  • In eTIME, click on tab labeled General.
  • Click on Inbox.
  • This will open up your Inbox in eTIME.
  • The Tasks tab should be open. If not, click on it.

When an employee has requested time off, you should have a line item waiting on approval.

  • Double-click on the request.
  • A window will open with this message “Welcome to Request for Time Off Evaluation process.”
  • Click Next.
  • A new window will open with the actual request information.
  • Review it.
  • In the section "What do you want to do," select Approve or Reject. If rejecting, as a courtesy please fill out the message section as to why you are rejecting the time off request.
  • Click Next.
  • This will open up a new window, click on Save & Close.
  • This will send an email to your staff member with the approval or denial.
